What to look for in a Micro Junior Soccer Program
When searching for a developmental program for your player, one of the most critical components is finding an organization with a sound philosophy for developing technical and tactical skills that are age appropriate. It is also important to find a coaching staff that has the knowledge and expertise to work with the younger player. An appropriate training program that places your player in a training environment that ensures fun and proper fundamental development is also very important. Albion Juniors is under the guidance of USSF Nationally licensed Director, Chris Cesa. He has been a player, coach and trainer for 20 years and distinguished himself as an enthusiastic and leading youth soccer coach!
Our Youth Program
The ALBION JUNIORS—Development Program for the Junior Player is designed to give your child the opportunity to build a solid foundation in technical development in the very early years of playing and enjoying the game of soccer. ALBION JUNIORS program serves as an introductory and advanced path for 3—6 aged soccer players. This design facilitates developmental progression recommended by the United States Soccer Federation as well as the US Youth Soccer Association. The uniqueness of our program is that we have devised an In-House, non-travel program professionally coached and organized for ages 3, 4, 5, & 6 year olds. We are committed to providing a fun, educational, and progressive experience for your youth soccer players. Not only are we committed to our youth players, but we also have a wonderful comprehensive coaching education curriculum and mentorship program specifically for Albion Juniors. ALBION JUNIORS is recommended for all girls and boys, ages 3—6, who have the desire to play soccer in a structured, professional environment with experienced and licensed coaches. There are no tryouts for our ALBION JUNIORS program. Registration and the desire is all that is required. In fact not only are we committed to our youth players, but we also have a wonderful comprehensive coaching education curriculum and mentorship program specifically for incoming Albion Junior Coaches.
ALBION JUNIORS U4, U5, U6, U7 PROGRAM
The vision for the Albion Juniors program will be to have the following age groups where they would be gender specific (except in the U4 age group), have separate training sessions and matches alike:
· U4 (Coed)
· U5 (Girl Bracket and Boy Bracket*)
· U6 (Girl Bracket and Boy Bracket*)
· U7 (Girl Bracket and Boy Bracket*)
*If number of Registration allows
Overall, all players will be under the guidance and development of the Albion Juniors’ Director, Chris Cesa. He will educate, mentor, and guide the volunteer Juniors coaches who take on an Albion Juniors Team for the season. Teams can be created with a mix of genders upon request, but the vision of the Juniors program is to have the separation. If there is a mixed team then that team would be placed in the Boy bracket of that age group. During the Fall season, respective Juniors’ Team coaches will have two training sessions per week and in the Spring there will be one session per week. In addition to the Team Training Sessions, there will be Juniors Director led Training Session, Specialty Camps, and Friday Clinics offered.

ALBION JUNIORS ACADEMY U7 PROGRAM
We are bridging the gap between recreational and competitive soccer with our Academy program. The Academy program will mirror the older Albion SC team concept while keeping the Juniors fundamentals and fostering a fun, educational environment.
The Academy Program highlights are:
· All Academy players will be chosen from the Juniors program teams. Academy players will be evaluated and placed based on Athletic ability, Technical ability, Knowledge and Maturity as well as space availability and recommendation by Albion SC Training Staff.
· Academy players will have the option of accepting or declining Academy placement.
· Academy fee will be based on Match Kit, Training Kit, Albion SC Training sessions, and Professional coaching, League and Ref fees.
· Academy Team Coach will be licensed to the appropriate level as directed by Albion SC Technical Director.
· Academy Team Manager will be the liaison between the coaches and the parents and will report directly to the Academy coach and the Juniors Director. The manager will deal with all administrative matters for the team.
· Albion SC coaches will train the Academy team once a week as directed by the Albion Juniors Director collaborating with the Albion SC Technical Director. Additional sessions could be added by coach and/or Director.
· Academy teams will participate in the Presidio League or identified U7 League determined by Albion SC Technical Director. Match schedule will be determined by the league.
· The Albion Juniors Director will have direct oversight over the Academy program.
