The ALBION SC tryouts for the 2026–2027 season are here! We’re ready to kick off the new year by building our ALBION teams and players into the best player development pathway in the country.

ALBION SC will be hosting open tryouts for all players interested in earning a spot on one of our competitive club teams for the 2026–2027 season. 

At ALBION, players are expected to bring a strong desire to play, a passion to compete, and a commitment to train with a focus on development. We provide an environment built around the ALBION Curriculum, emphasizing technical mastery, creativity, and love for the game.

Teams will be formed through a combination of returning ALBION players and new tryout participants. Player placement is based on current form and tryout evaluation, with continual review for growth and movement within our player development pathway.

San Diego & Central San Diego

Boys & Girls U6-U9 (2021 - 2017)

Dates: December 1st and 2nd

Time: 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Location: Robb Field (2525 Bacon Street, San Diego, CA 92107)

*Important Note: Going into the 2026/27 season, the leagues will be changing from 𝙗𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧, so please take a moment to look at the new age matrix below to ensure you register your player for the correct group!

Birth Year Ranges

U6: August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021

U7: August 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020

U8: August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019

U9: August 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018

Future Tryouts:

• U10 – U14 Tryouts will be held week of February 23rd, 2026 
• U15- U19 Tryouts will be held week of April 20th, 2026

We are always looking for qualified players to join ALBION. We have a formal tryout window and process for new players and welcome players throughout the year to join our current team training for 1-2 sessions for the opportunity to train with our ALBION coaching staff and showcase the players abilities.
