OLDER REGISTRATION (U15-U19) SATURDAY MAY 10th
All U15-U19 players playing on teams for Albion SC will need to attend the mandatory registration at Robb Field on Saturday, May 10th from 9am-12pm.
BU16 PREMIER & GU16 PREMIER ADVANCE TO ROUND OF 16 IN NATIONAL STATE CUP
Both of these teams competed well over the weekend earning 3-0 victories in the Round of 32. These teams will have regular team training sessions with open door to players wanting to tryout. For more information on these teams and the interest in trying out contact albionsc@san.rr.com

ALBION SC FREE FRIDAY CLINICS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 6-12 YEARS OLD
Albion SC is providing free soccer training clinics for boys and girls ages 6-12 years old every Friday in April and May from 4:30-6:00pm at Robb Field. These clinics are an opportunity for players and parents to get professional soccer instruction from top professional soccer coaches at Albion SC. In addition, parents and players can gain valuable information on Albion SC and competitive soccer.
2008 USA CUP & PUMA HAVE INVITED AND SPONSORED BU16 TO ATTEND EVENT
The USA CUP, a top international tournament in Minnesota has invited Albion SC to attend. Together with Puma they will be sponsoring the team to play in the tounament which will include fees, accomodations, meals, etc. The invite and offer is a great opportunity for our club and players.
BU17 RED ADVANCES TO THE CAL SOUTH STATE CUP CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, WHILE THE GU19 PREMIER ADVANCE TO THE SEMIFINALS FOR THE 2ND YEAR IN A ROW
The BU17 Red advanced to the Cal South State Cup Championship game after a PK win in the quarterfinals and a 2-0 win in the semifinals.  The GU19 Premier won 3-0 in the quarterfinals and find themselves in the semifinals for the 2nd year in a row.
GU19 PREMIER PLACE TWO MORE PLAYERS AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL

Colleen Burns and Becca Runyon have committed to attend top Universities after receiving offers to play soccer for their schools.

US CLUB INVITES ALBION SC TO COMPETE IN CHAMPIONS CUP

US Club Soccer makes invitations to the top clubs in the country to allow them to compete as a club against other top clubs and has awarded Albion SC with a club invitation.

ALBION BU17 PREMIER DRAW COLLEGE ATTENTION AT DISNEY COLLEGE SHOWCASE
Albion SC, BU17 Premier showcased themselves in great fashion at the Disney College Showcase and find themselves being contacted by some of the finest universities in the country such as Brown, Princeton, Davidson, Cornell, and many other great universities. The club puts the players in a position to be recruited by every college in the country and it this that we are most proud about. The team finished the tournament with a win over Tulsa Soccer Club( State Champions) 1-0 and lost to CASL 2-1 and Boston 3-0.
US NATIONAL TEAM CALLS UP 2 ALBION SC PLAYERS FOR NOVEMBER CAMPS
The US National Team now has 2 Albion SC players in their program. The most recent call up was for the Thanksgiving assembly of all US National Teams in which GU16 Premier, Devin Marshall has been called into the team and BU13 Premier, Oscar Ortega. The club is very proud to have the list of US National Team players continuing to grow and the development of our players taking them to higher and higher levels.
KALLE CALDWELL SIGNS WITH UNIVERISTY OF SAN FRANCISCO
Kalle came aboard the Albion SC program 2 years ago and the program has been behind her ever since preparing her for the college game. We have had a strong belief in her abilities and knew she was Division I material. After providing several opportunities for her to be scouted such as the Disney College Showcase and pursuing the schools she wanted to attend she was offered a very good scholarship to attend USF and play Division I soccer. Kalle has been a standout within the GU19 Premier team for the last 2 seasons and has earned everything she is getting.

We are always looking for serious soccer players looking to play at a top level. We will always consider players and are open to looking at potential in players throughout the year.

ALBION SC CAPTURE 4 REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS AT THE US CLUB REGIONALS

Albion SC took 8 teams to Boise, Idaho to compete against some of the top teams in the Region. In the end 4 of Albion’s top teams walked away Regional Champions of the very pretigious tournament put on by US Club Soccer. With the results of this tournament Albion SC will now  take these teams to North Carolina to compete for the National Championship. We are very proud of this accomplishment as it does not come easy. As a club we are preparing our teams to compete for a National Championship and this is a step in that direction for the club.

BU13 PREMIER PLAYER, OSCAR ORTEGA GETS SELECTED FOR US NATIONAL TEAM POOL AFTER BEING NAMED TO REGION IV TEAM
Albion SC very own Oscar Ortega who has been with the program for 2 full years going on his 3rd season was selected for ODP after playing with Albion SC through the State Cup Semi Finals this last year. After being called into the ODP pool for Cal South he has made all the cuts making the Cal South ODP team which took him to Oregon twice and has now been selected for the Region IV team which puts him in the running for the US National Team. He will now travel to Boston July 28th to play against the other regions in an attempt to make the US National Team. This is now Albion SC’s 3rd National Team player in the last 2 years.
BU16 PREMIER, JEREMIAH BUNTON CALLED INTO THE U17 USA NATIONAL TEAM

Albion SC’s Jeremiah Bunton has been with PSG for over 4 months now and has been identified as a player to be called into the US U17 National Team. Jeremiah has recently played in a game with the US team and recorded a goal and an assist against Canada. In addition, Jeremiah has also been playing with the Regional Team as they have arrived in France and have invited him into training and games with them to get additional exposure and opportunities.

ALBION SC ANNOUNCES FIRST PROFESSIONAL PLAYER SIGNED TO PARIS ST GERMAIN( PSG)

The word is traveling through US Soccer as Albion’s very own, Jeremiah Bunton has been selected to play for PSG ( Paris St. Germain) in France. As one of Albion’s truest products, Jeremiah has pushed himself into the European game after being spotted by professional scouts in France. Jeremiah has been working extremely hard towards this goal and has now proven to all American players the dream of playing in Europe is possible. Jeremiah will spend the next year with PSG and have many opportunities in the months ahead. Jeremiah was a PSL All-Star who was then brought into the Albion SC program at age 8. His focus and determination to become a professional existed at the youngest of ages and the club has supported and provided the training neccessary for him to reach his goals.  Stay tuned for updates on his year with PSG and all the exciting things that follow for Jeremiah.
